DESCRIPTION
A seminar designed for early-career scientists about the successful design and use of scientific posters.
OBJECTIVES
BIG IDEA
Scientific posters are one of the main tools that scientists use to share information with one another. By following some simple steps, scientists can ensure that they are designing their posters for maximum impact.
LEARNING GOALS
As a result of this program, participants will know the basic steps to follow in creating a scientific poster.
As a result of this program, participants will appreciate the strengths and weaknesses of the poster as a communication tool.
As a result of this program, participants will know that critique and feedback from colleagues is an essential part of the development process.
