During this online workshop, we will be joined by representatives from NASA's Solar System Ambassadors program and the Night Sky Network, who will walk us through how to find and engage with subject matter experts in your community. These enthusiastic volunteers can be wonderful resources for your Earth and space science programming, and are eager to share their excitement for science with your public audiences. Presenters will discuss how to use their resources, from initially finding local experts to effectively collaborating and maintaining relationships to strengthen your Earth and space science programs.

The Solar System Ambassadors Program (SSA) is a public outreach program composed of passionate volunteers from across the US who are interested in providing greater service and inspiration to the community at large.

The Night Sky Network is a nationwide coalition of amateur astronomy clubs bringing the science, technology, and inspiration of NASA's missions to the general public through unique astronomy experiences at museums, observatories, classrooms, and under the real night sky.
