These messages mention the inclusion of a “collaborative Moon game” with this toolkit, but just what is a collaborative Moon Game? The Moon Adventure Game is a hands-on collaborative experience for STEM learning in museums and planetariums.

This year the National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI) community will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the 21st Century Nanotechnology Research and Development Act, which authorized the creation and funding of the NNI. In 2003, the United States made the long-term commitment to be a world leader in nanoscale science and technology through the passage of this law. This October, around National Nanotechnology Day (October 9), we will mark this milestone with a series of events that reflect on NNI advances and applications that have enabled the nanotechnology revolution and envision our promising future. We invite the U.S. nanotechnology community to join this celebration! Details will be forthcoming on nano.gov."
