Evaluation and Research Finding: Online Resources

Liz Rosino, OMSI

The NISE Network’s online annual survey was created to learn more about the experiences of participants in NISE Net and how the Network might better support their activities. Many of you have participated over the past couple of years (thank you!), so we thought you might be interested in some of the results. We have been highlighting different findings from the 2013 survey over the past six months in our Evaluation and Research Findings blog posts.

Featured Findings about online resources:

  • The catalog of educational products on the nisenet.org website was found to be the most valuable NISE Network online resource to survey respondents. Paramount to this utility is the presence of downloadable content, simple keyword searching, and the categorization of products by topic.
  • Other valuable Network online resources were found to be the public audience website, whatisnano.org, and the events pages.
