Meghan has a master’s in elementary education from Portland State University and is passionate about science education. She has an undergraduate degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She also earned her Masters of Science as a Noyce Scholar where she worked in conjunction with the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OSMI) for her graduate work. She studied how the choices teachers make for the school field trips to science centers effected on students’ affective relationship with science and their attitudes toward their trip. She currently works for the Nevada Discovery museum in Reno Nevada. She also has worked in the classroom for several years with a variety of age groups. Meghan has an endorsement in English language instruction and is passionate about working toward equity in our education system for all students especially English language learners.
