The James Webb Space Telescope (Webb) launched in December 2021 and has arrived at its final destination, about 1 million miles (1.5 million kilometers) from Earth. Now that the first full-color images have been shared, what new discoveries can we expect? As the world's largest and most powerful space telescope, Webb is an ambitious scientific endeavor to reveal the hidden universe to our eyes using infrared technology: stars shrouded in clouds of dust, water in the atmospheres of other worlds, and light from the first galaxies ever formed.

Join us for this online workshop to learn more about the images and data captured by Webb. We will be joined by members of the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI), who will provide information about the images as well as connections to public engagement activities.
