Steve Whitt, Director of Experience Programs Teaching and Learning, is a math teacher who wandered into COSI way back in 1993 and never found his way out. Steve served for many years as Senior Writer for the COSI Studio, but has now returned to his first love – blowing stuff up! In addition to his antics on the Gadgets Stage, Steve performs throughout COSI, particularly as an itinerant science busker in COSI’s ample hallways. Steve is also a published children's science writer, with work appearing in Cricket, Spider, Odyssey, Yesmag, and Highlights for Children. His first book, published by Prometheus Books, is called The Turtle and the Universe. Steve lives in Columbus with his wife Julie and their daughters Alyssa and Caroline.
