
Lucinda Presley, Discovery Science Place Science/Arts Director and Director of Special Initiatives, engages visitors in STEM through creativity. She is in her sixth year of work with the Exploratorium's CILS (Center for Informal Learning in Schools) program. She also leads the Exploratorium's TexNET and PIE (Playful Invention and Exploration) initiatives at her museum. Her work also includes projects with NISE and NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab. These initiatives are an important part of the K-12 programming and teacher training that she develops and presents locally and regionally. She has a master's degree in concept integration and has been providing this type of programming for over 25 years.
