Kate Stuart

I am a fourth year PhD student in Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University. My research focus is in biomaterials and tissue engineering. Specifically, I am investigating how collagen-polysaccharide interactions affect structural and mechanical properties of scaffolds that could be used in vascular tissue engineering. Additionally, I am working with a small science museum in Lafayette, IN to build an exhibit that describes the nanoscale.
