Originally a native of Pennsylvania, I attended college and graduate school in my home state. After graduation, I did a grand tour of residential camps and conference centers in Maine, North Carolina and New York. I loved Maine the most (who wouldn't be enchanted with teaching a 2-hour lesson on the beach dressed as surf clam?) but couldn't handle the brutal winters. North Carolina seemed like a good place to grow some roots. After two years working as a naturalist, I decided to shake things up a bit and try something new. I worked for SciWorks Science Center from fall 2006 to May 2010. Presently, I'm having adventures at the Children's Museum of Winston-Salem!
