What NanoDays Kit activities worked best for you?

Beck Tench

Sylvia Algire, Assistant Manager of the Field Trips department at the Exploratorium just emailed a comment about her experience with NanoDays 2009.

"The visitors (mostly field trip students) were drawn to the demos that had some type of specific and concrete action for them to do. example- 'squirt grape juice on the pants and see what happens' 'smell the containers and put them in order of strongest to weakest concentration'. Also, the visitors were engaged at the nasturtium /nano pants demo because it gave a real life example of how nano technology is used and experienced in everyday life."
