The NISE Network’s online annual survey was created to learn more about the experiences of participants in NISE Net and how the Network might better support their activities. Many of you have participated over the past couple of years (thank you!), so we thought you might be interested in some of the results. We'll be highlighting different findings from the 2013 survey over the next few months in our Evaluation and Research Findings blog posts.
Featured Findings about partnerships:
- 72% of respondents said that their organization partnered or collaborated with other organizations to engage the public in nanoscience, engineering, and technology. The most common types of partnerships listed were among universities or colleges, K-12 schools, and museums or science centers.
- In the past twelve months, most organizations partnered with one to five others, but a few said they partnered with 40 or more! Planning and facilitating NanoDays was cited as the most valuable resource in helping to form and sustain partnerships.
